The principle

We store only what we need to run the service. We never sell your data, read your private entries, or use your content for advertising or AI training.

Account information

Time capsules

·Capsule content and title
·Sealed date and unlock date

Connections and shared notes

·Connected users (partner, family, friend)
·Shared note content and participants

Kept: Until the connection is removed or your account is deleted

Activity and streaks

·Current and longest writing streak
·Total entry count
·Badges earned and dates
·Last entry date

Kept: Until you delete your account

Server logs

Kept: Up to 30 days, for security and debugging only

Third parties with access

Cloud database

Database hosting — stores your account, entries, and structured data

Shared: All database content (encrypted at rest)

Cloud file storage

Stores uploaded images and audio files

Shared: Uploaded files only

SMTP email provider

Sends transactional emails (verification, password reset, time capsule delivery)

Shared: Your email address and the email content, when you trigger an email action

All third-party providers are contractually bound to protect your data and prohibited from using it for their own purposes.
